What does the project involve?
The project will involve laying approximately 1.5km of new 90mm & 125mm main, along Tonbridge Road and part of Camp Hill, starting from the junction of Hampkins Hill Road.
Read our 'Keeping your water flowing' booklet here, which explains the four stages of laying a water main.
What impact will there be on passing traffic?
We will be working under traffic lights along Tonbridge Road for the duration of the work and under a full road closure in Camp Hill.
How long is the work expected to take?
We'll be starting the work on Tuesday 19 April and it is expected to be completed by Friday 12 August.
Will water supplies be turned off?
Apart from minor interruptions of 30 to 60 minutes as each property is individually connected to temporary and replacement water mains, water supplies will continue as normal while the old water main is being replaced.
We will make sure those customers whose water supply is directly affected by these works are notified in advance.
What does this mean for businesses, schools and organisations in the area?

We would encourage organisations to contact us on 01737 772000 so we can:
