Once your new water meter has been fitted, we'll drop a handy booklet through your door with everything you need to know. Please see below for more information.

By registering to GetWaterFit on our website, and answering a few simple questions about your daily water habits, you can quickly get a more accurate picture of how much water you use.

Your water bills will continue to include a standing charge, which covers the costs of billing, customer service, as well as the pumping and cleaning of the water.

What happens once you have your meter

We'll send you at least one cost comparison letter during the following 12 months so you can see how much water you're using. If you want to switch early you can, just let us know.

Otherwise, you don't have to do anything, we'll automatically switch you to metered billing at 12 months and will send you a letter to confirm your journey is complete.
